Washington Housing Bubble

Is the bubble on the verge of bursting? Check out this picture of a bench near a condo complex at the Dunn Loring metro stop (orange line). Not sure why you’d want to live out there anyways…about a 1,000 condos, they all look the same, and it’s a traffic nightmare out there.

Thanks to Bubble Meter on blogspot.

    1. Check it out, Tom—the Post actually sent someone out there to take a photo, and printed an article today about real estate speculators being “in full retreat” in DC. When the ad-dependent mainstream media start reporting on slow sales, I take it as a sign there’s something afoot.

    1. Does this signal the end of real estate speculation? Or the end of being able to sit on that bench?

    1. And wouldn’t you think the city would take an interest in a sudden infestation of lockboxes on a municipal property? Or are they putting in this kind of bench specifically in anticipation of the need for a place to put lockboxes?
